What happens when you delete your account
Submitting a deletion request asks Portingen Technologies LLC to permanently delete your account and the personal data associated with it — including your profile, CV data, uploaded documents, and application history.
Important:
- Deletion requests are reviewed and processed manually. Your account will remain active until the request has been reviewed.
- Some records may be retained where legally required — for example, for fraud prevention, legal disputes, or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone.
Option 1 — Request deletion in the app
The fastest way to submit a deletion request is directly through the IntSeaJobs app:
- 1 Open the IntSeaJobs app and sign in to your account.
- 2 Tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
- 3 Scroll down to the Account & Data section.
- 4 Tap Request account deletion.
- 5 Optionally enter a reason, then confirm by tapping the red Submit request button.
You will receive a confirmation message in the app. Your account stays active while the request is pending.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by emailing us. Send a message to [email protected] with the subject line Account Deletion Request, and include the following in the body:

Body:
Name: [Your full name]
Account email: [The email address registered in your IntSeaJobs account]
Reason (optional): [Brief reason for deletion]
Please delete my account and all associated personal data from IntSeaJobs.
We will process your request as soon as reasonably possible. You may receive a follow-up email to verify your identity before deletion is completed.
What data is deleted
Upon processing your request, we will delete or anonymise:
- Your account credentials and login details
- Your profile, CV, and personal details
- Uploaded files and documents (certificates, licences, photos)
- Employment history, test results, and education records
- Job applications you submitted
- Session and authentication tokens
Some information may be retained where required by applicable law, for fraud prevention, audit purposes, or to resolve active legal disputes. Aggregated, anonymised statistical data may also be retained.
